Wojtek Mazolewski Bund Band - Improwizacja

from by various artists

Wojtek Mazolewski is a musician known for his alternative and free jazz projects. The idea for the project was born several years ago during Mizrach, a festival devoted to Jewish music. It was back then that Mazolewski was enraptured by the sound of the socialist hymns of the Jewish workers’ union. His arrangements, as usual, delight through their ingenuity. Jazz improvisations inspired by the hymns and songs of the Bund and the Warsaw ghetto insurgents send a surprisingly powerful message.
